UNC Credit & Restructuring

Our organization is a student-run initiative seeking to educate UNC students on career paths related to credit and financial restructuring

Credit

Credit refers to lending capital, often through structured loans or bonds, to individuals, companies, or governments. Our club explores careers in private credit, leveraged finance, corporate banking, and distressed debt

Financial Restructuring

Financial restructuring involves reorganizing a company's capital structure, typically during financial distress, to improve stability and manage debt obligations. Our club highlights careers in restructuring advisory, distressed investing, and turnaround management, where professionals negotiate with creditors, assess company viability, and design recovery strategies to maximize value for stakeholders
